Marmalade Photography had its start in 2005 with a simple vision by owner Marianne Drenthe: fun, authentic captures and emotive photos of children and families, outside the stuffiness of the (then popular) mall studios. We are proud to offer photography on location in family homes and our beautifully curated locations which has allowed us to capture relationships as they truly are.
In 2005 we cultivated a field trip experience for families and children that still informs our present day ethos. The photos may anchor your memory of our time together but my hope is that when you reflect upon the imagery we create you remember little details: like the crunch of leaves under your feet on a fall day or the way the May flowers sprang into life to decorate your session.
We are committed to serving a wonderful experience with quality imagery and finished products for our clientele. Just as we started out in 2005 we continue today.

Session fees begin at $195 for Marmalade Location session and $295 for on-location sessions throughout Chicagoland and beyond, Please refer to our INVESTMENT page for further details on our session offerings.
