As a Chicago maternity photographer I offer on-location pregnancy photography at your home, at one of our curated Marmalade Locations, or anywhere across Chicagoland that holds great meaning for you as an individual and your growing family.

I typically rely on natural light with flexibility. My work is profoundly relationship-focused, true to who you are during this time of becoming.

These aren’t simply belly shots. These are portraits of a family unfolding.

Pregnancy is one of the most transformative thresholds a woman crosses. It deserves to be documented with the same intention and artistry as every other chapter of your family’s story, perhaps even more so – within you lies the magic of transformation and becoming.

This is the complete first chapter of your child’s story.

Beginning with your maternity session on location, continuing at four to six months* when your baby’s personality is just beginning to emerge, and culminating at their first year milestone – every session building toward a single, beautifully designed heirloom album delivered after your final session together.

*if you opt for the hospital photographer at the newborn stage you may opt to see us between 4-6 months – this is what often happens and we understand how overwhelming those early days are to new parent families (ESPECIALLY mom!) Our guidelines are just that – if you prefer to have us there for newborn photos, plan on photography at 5-10 days.
